You can clearly see her putting her thoughts and emotions into her work. She creates the images in a fashion that tells a story and reduces several people in the audience to tears. I think they started out playing Metallica songs at parties for friends and stuff, maybe some small clubs. They got noticed, got signed but they evolved from there. You should give some of the originals a listen, they're really good :)

I was just getting irritated with some other comments (below mine) that were blasting Apocalyptica for being "Copiers" - I wanted to point out that this band has A LOT of original songs :) They are amazing.. looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks :)

I was pointing out that they are not "copiers" because even though they have many cover songs, they have a larger amount of original compositions. Their last 3 albums have all been originals, I believe. Never said I disliked this band. At all.

@winbomb44 although this is true she is able use sand to create the images she wants. You can clearly see her putting her thoughts and emotions into her work. She creates the images in a fashion that tells a story and reduces several people in the audience to tears. Even if the sand art itself is not very skillful, the story it tells is.
