If you just repeated what Henley said, I guess I can't argue his work - but he still misses the mark in communicating that. I think its because the the song is so upbeat and powerful. Stong use of brass in a song typically indicates hopefullness as do the punching, closing codas on the synthesizer.

The video clip ruins the song for me. :( I always thought of my holiday in New Dehli (loong time ago) and the sunsets there when I listened to the song.
